The Directorate of Marketing, Communications and International is recruiting an Admissions Adviser to work within the University’s admissions team.
About the Post
- The post holder will focus on the processing of applications for undergraduate and postgraduate study. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Directorate of Marketing, Communications and International as well as Admissions Tutors in a busy, but friendly and supportive environment.
- You will have responsibility for the efficient administration of student applications for a wide range of courses, alongside other Admissions projects.
About the Team
- The Admissions Advisor will be part of the Admissions Team which sits within the Directorate of Marketing, Communications and International. Admissions is a collaborative, and supportive team who works hard to ensure a positive applicant experience.
- The Directorate is responsible for student recruitment, admissions, marketing, events, website, social media, external and internal communications.
- The team has a proactive social group which coordinates various activities through the year
- The team benefits from agile working, with on-campus time of around 60%, however, many people choose to be in the office more often to work collaboratively.
About You
- You should be able to work accurately under pressure, as well as having excellent organisation, communication and customer care skills. An understanding of the Higher Education sector is useful but is not essential.
- You should have a flexible approach to work, and a willingness to take on a variety of roles, as well as the ability to provide a seamless and positive experience to applicants, providing information and advice about the courses we offer to ensure successful conversion of applicants to the University of Suffolk.
